Today Casey and I left to Monterey with his fifth grade class. We had a great drive and arrived at Monterey Bay Aquarium in great time. We haven't been to this museum since Casey was three-years-old. It is gorgeous. The sea otters were our absolute favorite. Oh my goodness they are so darling. This huge tank was beautiful and we loved the jelly fish and octopus and squid too. We ended the day at the beach. We are staying at the Asilomar and it is wonderful. Tomorrow we are going whale watching and to a butterfly preserve. I love being with Casey on these field trips and watching him interact with his friends. My heart is happy. Good night.
