Spring Break
Our Spring Break week was very relaxing. We only worked two days and then we jumped in the truck and barely had to pack because we stayed in a tiny cabin at the Santa Cruz/Monterey KOA. This KOA was fantastic. Our cabin came with everything we needed; plates, towels, sheets and blankets. We enjoyed two wonderful nights! The first evening Pedar used the BBQ and made a delicious dinner and then we headed to Manresa State Beach to watch the sunset. No one else was on the beach that night, it was kind of magical. The beach was covered in beautiful shells, the boys were thrilled. The next day we wandered around Pacific Grove and Carmel. We bought a kite and hung out at Carmel River State Beach. There was a wedding on the beach, which was so fun to watch! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Club Jalapeno in Carmel. The restaurant had fantastic service and the guacamole and fish tacos were SO good. We enjoyed gorgeous weather the entire trip and slept so well in our little cabin/house.
Our last morning we went to Red Apple Cafe in Aptos before heading home to prepare for Easter fun with family. We're getting better at planning these mini getaways.
