Grateful

On Saturday we will enjoy a full moon and an extra hour thanks to Daylight savings time! Please and Thank You! I am beginning to feel a shift and I like it.

I was worried that November might follow the same path as earlier months. We've had some hard health times of late and I have been praying for a break! It looks like my prayers are being answered and I am tentatively doing a happy dance. Maybe I'll dance under the full moon. YES! I think I should give thanks!

Things were feeling so yucky lately that I broke out the sage and smudged my house, our cars and myself.

Article on Sage Smudging by Tiffany Maloney

The use of incense and other smoke and vapor to connect humans to the spirit world, can be easily traced throughout the East in parts of Asia and even dating as far back to Ancient Greece. The use of dried white sage however, is a 2,000 year old Indigenous American practice. The shamans used dried sage plants on their fires as a ritual of calling upon ancestral spirits. Any conflict, anger, illness or evil was absorbed by the sage smoke to be released or cleansed from the energy field of a person.

Why did I sage? I wanted to welcome good health and positive changes into our home and ask the negative energy to exit.

It wasn't my first time. I tend to smudge when I'm feeling scared, stressed or sad. The three S's. EEK!

I LOVE making gratitude lists in November. It is a great time to slow down and meditate on this beautiful life. What are YOU grateful for?

2. I am grateful for Pedar. He is my rock.

3. I am grateful for love, play, music, dance, comedy, hope and joy.

I hope you have a fantastic November and feel incredibly hopeful and happy.
