I was recently asked to help design a front yard. I went over and met with Eddy. Pedar and I measured her yard and spoke to her about her budget and vision. We talked about what she likes (color) and what she needs (easy, not a lot of maintenance/trimming).

Read MoreI finally finished our master bathroom refresh and I LOVE it! A few months back I looked at the light that we bought from Home Depot in 2013 and couldn’t look at it another minute. I ordered a new light that day! The next month when I was painting several doors black, I decided to paint the inside of the bathroom door black. I loved the change. Then I decided I couldn’t be surrounded by the same damn baby blue anymore, so I painted the bathroom white.

Read MoreOur front porch doesn’t receive that much light so it looks really dark. I decided recently that I wanted to paint the front door a bright color. I thought I was going to paint it yellow, but I decided on a gorgeous blue called, “Dip in the pool”— it is a very happy light turquoise color.

Read MoreOne day I looked at the patio furniture on our deck and realized I couldn’t look at it anymore. Our neighbors on Oxbow put it out for free in 2004 and I painted it and stuck some patio cushions on it. I was done looking at it, so I finally bought this set on Wayfair. I put our old set on Facebook Marketplace for Free and it was gone within the hour. I love giving stuff away to people that want it! Hurrah!
