No Power

On Sunday we woke up and slowly got going. Pedar had just poured a waffle for breakfast into the waffle iron and we lost power. The storm outside created a brown out for close to four hours. For the next storm we learned we need more batteries, cans of soup and fire wood. The house was getting cold and thankfully, the power came on again around 12:30 p.m. It was so nice to be able to turn the heat on and do some laundry! Thankfully we have a gas stove so Casey was able to make crepes.

We took it easy Sunday. We watched Rita for several hours while Margery went to a Holiday party. The best thing happened!! Rita pooped in the potty for me!! OH YEAH!! Best Aunt EVER!

The rest of the day we cleaned closets in order to make room for a desk in Erik's room. We decided to move our office armoire into our bedroom because we want to build a booth in that spot. Looking forward to working on a few home projects soon! Our house needs a hug. After two and a half years here it might be time I hang a picture or two in the living room.
