Zoo snooze

So last week, Erik and I spent Thursday night at the zoo! All three first grade classes at Mission showed up at Sacramento Zoo on Thursday around 5:30 p.m. and set up our tents on the grassy area near the reptile house. We then enjoyed a nighttime tour and got to watch several animals receive treats. We then heard stories and were introduced to several small animals that the kids even got to touch! We went to bed late and didn't sleep much because of the darn flamingos. Good Day Sacramento did a story on the zoo and started interviewing parents and kids about 5:30 a.m. We ate, packed up, walked around the zoo some more and then finally left for lunch at the park. It was a fun experience. I loved being with Erik and his little buddies.
